GARANT armouring components are used in various applications.

 

Protection for Aircrafts

Since more than 25 years we are supplying the ballistic protection for the C-160 Transall. Furthermore we have developed and supplied protection kits for the C-130 Hercules and the A-400M aircraft.

Our armouring components are also suitable for the usage in helicopters and civil aircrafts.

 

Protection for Land Systems

Since more than 40 years we are supplying ballistic protection for land systems. Till the 1980ties vehicles were up-armoured in-house. Since the 1990ties we exclusively manufacture armouring components upon customer requirements. Let it be as complete armour kits, single components or as an add-on to an already existing armouring.

Over the years we have delivered the ballistic protection solutions for a multitude of military as well as civil wheeled vehicles as well as tracked military vehicles.

 

Protection for stationary Installations

GARANT armouring components are also used in stationary installations such as containers or shelters as well as in buildings.

 

Body Armour

Our ballistic protection components are also used in body armour applications for example as soft-ballistic panels for bullet-proof vests or as part of hard-ballistic inserts and ballistic shields.

 

Civil Applications

For civil applications our protection components are used in the form of flexible protection blankets or as enclosures for material test benches or in hazardous areas of a manufacturing site.

 

FirmLiner® & FlexLiner®

We develop and manufacture ballistic protection solutions in the form of

• sewed liners: FlexLiner® Technology
• pressed laminats: FirmLiner® Technology

as stand-alone solutions or in conjunction with other materials like steel, titanium, aluminium, ceramic, PE, PP, PC, CFRP and GRP.
