Quality
Since 1990 we are certified according to ISO 9001. Our quality management system also follows the requirements of the NATO standard AQAP 2110.
For our division “Protection of Aircrafts” we have the necessary approvals.
The whole purchasing and manufacturing process is subject to the stringent guide lines of our quality management system. The continuous improvement of our processes and products is our first priority.

Research and Development
The evaluation of new materials and the further development of our protection technology is the core of our work.
Each year a double-digit percentage of our turnover is invested in research and development.
In the most closely cooperation with our customers as well as our suppliers we are continuously developing ourselves and our products further.
All our products are constantly tested and certified by state-owned testing laboratories.
Consulting
Together with our customers we determine their individual need. Mutually we come to the ideal solution. We always focus on a long-lasting partnership instead of a short-term profit maximisation.
Manufacturing
In order to assure the highest quality and a long product lifespan we manufacture all our products in-house.
Our textile manufacturing comprises the largest sewing automat in the industry, fully automatic spreading machines and CAD-Cutting including CAD construction. Our helmet and sheet presses in conjunction with our metalworking machinery allows a highly flexible and state-of-the-art production.
Aside automation handcraft is an important part of our manufacturing. Staff training and constant further professional training along with a long-term employee retention is an integral part of our corporate culture.
We work exclusively with long time and highly specialized suppliers. All main suppliers are located in a 300km radius.
Training
In addition to the training for our own products, we also offer training and courses beyond this.
Maintenance, Repairs and Spare Parts
In case maintenance is required or the repair of one of our products is needed, we perform this in-house, on-site at our customers or through our local service partners, fast and cost effective.
Spare parts for our products are available for many years. For a customer specific spare part concept we are happy to assist you.
Disposal
Our disposal concept guarantees the appropriate disposal and prevents the un-authorized further usage.
History
Shortly after the end of World War II the first ballistic protection products were developed. At the beginning of the 1950ties the first patent for a bullet-proof vest with head protection was granted.
The 1960ties and 1970ties saw comprehensive further development in body armour and especially in head protection („Tig-Helmet PSH-77“).
In the 1980ties a Bomb Suit along with other EOD/IEDD products completed the range of products (“BSA-78”).
In the 1990ties the FlexLiner technology was developed and successfully applied in vehicle and aircraft armouring applications (“Transall C-160”).
International Peace Missions such as in Ex-Yugoslavia or in Somalia required flexible protection solutions. So did the NATO mission in Afghanistan after the terroristic attacks in New York in 2001 („MSA-Wolf, MSS-Wolf, MSS-Unimog“).
The ongoing fight against the international and multi-dimensional terrorism requires a continuous further development along with a strong focus on modern and highly effective protection. This development has lead for example to the most advanced and lightest Bomb Suit in the market, the SPS-15.
